تناول هذا البحث موضوعا يعد من أهم المواضيع ذات الاهتمام الكبير وهو: التوسع في المعاملات المالية لمختلف فيها؛ ليعين المؤسسات والأفراد على التعامل بالمعاملات المالية في إطار الشريعة الإسلامية، إذ أضحت المعاملات المالية الإسلامية سمة مميزة للنشاط الاقتصادي الحلال، فوسعت المؤسسات المالية من دائرة عملها، ونطاق معاملاتها؛ واستحدثوا كثيرا من المعاملات المالية. ومن هنا جاء هذا البحث ليوضح حقيقة تلك الظاهرة، وبيان أسباب ظهورها، مع تسليط الضوء على بعض المعاملات المالية، وبيان موطن التوسع في كل منها قوة وضعفا بالاستئناس بما صح من أدلة الفقهاء في التمييز بين التوسع المشروع والتوسع غير المشروع، وذلك وفق قواعد الاستدلال المتعارف عليها عند علماء الشرع. وقد جاء في أربعة مباحث تناولنا في المبحث الأول حقيقة التوسع في المعاملات المالية المختلف فيها، وبينا في المبحث الثاني أسباب التوسع في المعاملات المالية المختلف فيها، وتحدثنا في المبحث الثالث عن أنواع التوسع في المعاملات المالية المختلف فيها، أما المبحث الرابع فتناول الحكم الشرعي للتوسع في المعاملات المالية المختلف فيها وأنواعه، وتوصل الباحثان فيه إلى أن التوسع لا يأخذ حكما فقهيا واحدا؛ لاختلاف تكييفاته الفقهية.
