المستخلص: تتناول هذه الدراسة مسألة مهمة من مسائل علم الجرح والتعديل وهي قلة مرويات الراوي وأثر هذه القلة في الحكم على الراوي جرحا وتعديلا. واختص البحث بالعناية بعبارات العلماء الدالة على قلة مرويات الراوي وبين تنوع عباراتهم في ذلك، وقد اهتمت هذه الدراسة بوضع تعريف محدد لمصطلح "قليل الحديث"، وكذلك بيان ضابط القلة وأقسامها، ثم عرجت الدراسة إلى بيان الوسائل التي يستخدمها نقاد الحديث بالحكم على الراوي بوجه عام وعلى الراوي المقل بوجه خاص، ثم بيان أثر القلة في الحكم على الراوي جرحا وتعديلا. واتبع الباحث في هذه الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي، وذلك باستقراء أقوال العلماء الدالة على قلة مرويات الراوي، ثم بعد ذلك أستخدم المنهجين التحليلي والنقدي في دراسة هذه المقولات وتحليلها. وقد توصل الباحث إلى جملة من النتائج من أهمها وجود ترابط بين قلة مرويات الراوي وبين قصر ترجمة الراوي المقل، وأن قلة أحاديث الراوي كانت سبب في تعسر سبر مروياته والحكم عليه، قلة أحاديث الراوي ليس لها حكم مطرد فقد تكون دليل ثقة بالراوي واطمئنان لحديثه، وقد تكون دليل قلة ضبط وعدم عناية بالحديث، وهذا الأمر يجعل لكل راو حكم خاص به، والقرائن هي التي تبين ذلك وتحدده، وغيرها من النتائج

This study deals with an important issue of the science of criticising and praising (jarh and ta'deel) .Which is the scarcity of the narrator's reports. and the effect of this scarcity, in judging ,criticizing and praising the narrator. The search specifically addresses the expressions scholars used to describe the scarcity of the narrator and the diversity of their expressions. The study is also concerned about setting a certain definition of the term "a Little report "and clarifying the scarcity restrictions and its divisions. and then the study went on to indicate the methods used by the critics of report to judge a narrator in general and the narrator who had little report in particular, and then to explain the impact of the scarcity in judging, criticizing and praising the narrator. The researcher in this study followed the inductive approach, by extrapolating the statements of scholars to the scarcity of the narrator, and then using the analytical and monetary approaches to study and analyse these statements. The researcher has reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are the correlation between the scarcity of the narrator reports and his limited biography. The fact that the narrator's scarcity of reports was the reason of the difficulty of following his narrations (reports) as well as judging him. The scarcity of narrator's reports has no steady judgment, it may be a sign of trust in the narrator and a reassurance to his hadeeth. and may be evidence of a lack of control and inconsideration of the report, and this matter makes a specific judgment for each narrator, and the evidences clarify and determine it, as well as the other results
