تتناول هذه الدراسة دور كلية العلوم والآداب في النمو السكاني والتنمية بمحافظة عقلة الصقور في منطقة القصيم، وتهدف إلى تحليل خصائص عينة الدراسة الديموغرافية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية، والتعرف على دور كلية العلوم والآداب بمحافظة عقلة الصقور. وقد تم الاعتماد على عينة مسحية تتكون من (٣٠٠) استبانة وزعت عليهم، وصممت الاستبانة للإجابة عن الخصائص الديموغرافية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية للعينة، والتعرف على أثر كلية العلوم والآداب في النمو السكاني، والمستوى التعليمي، والاستثمار، وفي الأنشطة والخدمات بمحافظة عقلة الصقور. ولقد تبين من الدراسة أن محافظة عقلة الصقور تشهد نموا سكانيا سريعا لوجود كلية العلوم والآداب. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة أن ما يزيد عن ٤٠٠ طالب وطالبة موزعين على أكثر من ٥٠ مركزا وقرية غرب منطقة القصيم استفادوا من مقاعد الدراسة في الكلية. واتضح وجود تباين بين أفراد العينة، من حيث أثر الكلية على النمو السكاني بالمحافظة حسب العمر الحالي والحالة العملية، أيضا وجود تباين بينهم بالنسبة لأثر الكلية على الاستثمار بالمحافظة حسب الحالة التعليمية، عدد أفراد الأسرة، فيما تبين أن هناك تباينا فيما يخص أثر الكلية على الأنشطة والخدمات بالمحافظة حسب الدخل الشهري.
This study deals with the role of Faculty of Science and Arts in the population growth and development in Oqlat Alsoqor. It aims to analyze the characteristics of the sample of demographic, economic and social study, and to identify the role of Faculty of Science and Arts in Oqlat Alsoqor. A survey sample consisting of (300) questionnaire was distributed to them. The questionnaire was designed to answer the demographic, economic and social characteristics of the sample and to identify the impact of Faculty of Science, and Arts on population growth, educational level, investment, activities and services in Oqlat Alsoqor. The study found that the province of Oqlat Alsoqor is witnessing rapid population growth because of the Faculty of Science and Arts. The results of the study revealed that more than 400 students distributed in more than 50 centers and villages west of Al-Qassim area benefited from the school seats. There was a difference between the sample members, in terms of the effect of the college on the population growth in the governorate according to the current age and the practical situation. There was also a difference between the effect of the college on the investment in the governorate, according to the educational situation and the number of family members.
