المستخلص: Le film Dracula - Bram Stoker- réaliser par Francis Ford Coppola est l’un des plus grands succès des films américains qui ont cité l’intégralité du roman, ce roman de l’Irlandé Bram Stoker a été incorporé au sein de laboratoire filmique de Coppola qui dispose d'un style de film raffiné et particulier . depuis son film Le Parrain qui a révolutionné la relation entre le roman et le film, ce cinéaste a sauvé avec un groupe de ses pairs: George Lucas, et certains de ses étudiants: Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, le cinéma d’ Hollywood du dilemme des année après studio au cinéma de la grande production. Ce film produit en 1992 est une icône cinématographique qui a établi par la suite l’école de l’horreur romanesque dans le cinéma est considéré comme un changement qualitatif du paradigm défini par le vampire Dracula de Coppola après qu'il était juste un personnage fictif plongé dans le monde littéraire de Bram Stoker. Ce changement a adopté une approche esthétique cinématographique qui a rappelé l'espace du scénario d'une part, et remis en question la réalité du film selon la technique directorial et l'accumulation filmique de Dracula à travers l’historique des films d'horreur d’une autre part.

يعد فيلم دراكولا – برام ستوكر للمخرج فرانسيس فورد كوبولا من أنجح الأفلام الأمريكية التي نقلت حرفية الرواية وروحها، فقد أدمجت هذه الرواية للأرلندي برام ستوكر ضمن مخبر كوبولا الفيلمي الذي يتميز بأسلوب سينمائي راق ومتميز، انطلاقا من أنه أحدث ثورة في علاقة السينما بالرواية منذ فيلمه العراب، وأخرج برفقة ثلة من أقرانه: جورج لوكاش، وبعض تلامذته: مارتن سكورسيزي، جيمس كاميرون، ستيفن سبيلبرغ سينما هوليود من مأزق فشل سنوات ما بعد الأستوديو إلى رحاب سينما المخرج والإنتاج الكبير، ويأتي هذا الفيلم المنتج عام1992 م ليسجل أيقونة سينمائية أسست لما صار يعرف فيما بعد بمدرسة الرعب الرومانسية . إن هذه النقلة النوعية التي عرفها مصاص الدماء دراكولا على يد كوبولا بعد أن كان مجرد شخصية روائية مغمورة في عالم برام ستوكر الأدبي، اعتمدت مقاربة جمالية سينمائية تسترجع فضاء الكتابة السيناريستية من جهة، وتسائل واقع الفيلم سينمائيا اعتمادا على التقنية الإخراجية والتراكم الفيلمي لدراكولا عبر تاريخية أفلام الرعب والأفلام الكابوسية.
