من فضل الله علىَّ وكرمه وجوده أن وفقني إلى كشف اللثام عن هذا الجانب من جوانب أعظم شخصية في تاريخ علوم العربية وهو أبو عبد الرحمن الخليل بن أحمد الفراهيدي، ذلك العالم الفذ، والمؤسس لعدد من علوم العربية، والذي تحظى آراؤه واجتهاداته اللغوية باحترام وتقدير علماء اللغة على مر العصور. وعندما نتناول القراءات التي رواها الخليل لا نتكلف شيئاً ننسبه إليه أو نسند له أمراً غريباً عليه، فقد أشار كبار علماء القراءات كابن مجاهد وابن الجزري إلى رواية الخليل عن عبد الله بن كثير المكي أحد القراء السبعة المشهورين، كما ذكره ابن الجزري في طبقات القراء، وذكر أنه أقرأ بعض تلاميذه، ومنهم بكار بن عبد الله بن يحيى بن يونس العودي البصري، الذي روى القراءة عن خليل. واعتمدت في استخراج قراءات الخليل على كتب القراءات السبعة لابن مجاهد والنشر لابن الجزري وكتاب شواذ القراءات للكرماني، كما رجعت إلى كتب التفسير وكتب اللغة ونسبت كل قراءة إلى مصدرها الذي أخذت منه. وقمت بدراسة القراءات التي وردت عن الخليل من الجوانب الصوتية والصرفية والنحوية وتناولت التغيرات التي تحدث في الكلمة بما يوضح الاستعمال اللغوي لها، ويزيل عنها الغموض والإبهام.
But for Allah’s help, blessings and support, I would not be able to unearth that contribution of Abo Abederrahman Al Khalil Ibn Ahmad Al Farahiedy in the domain of Classic Arabic studies. He is one of the greatest scholars in the history of Classic Arabic Language studies and the founder of a number of Arabic-related sciences. His researches and opinions have brought him a reputable name, great respect and evaluation of linguistics circles in all times. When we reveal his modes of recitation he narrated, we did him no favor but attributing a deserved rank confirmed by great scholars, as Ibn Mugahid and Ibn Aljazry, mentioning his mode of recitation of the Glorious Quran narrated from Abdulah Ibn Katheir Al Makkey; one of the seven famous modes of recitation readers. Furthermore, Ibn Aljazry has mentioned Al Khalil Ibn Ahmad Al Farahiedy in the great ranks of The Glorious Quran Readers and how he taught his own mode of recitation to his student Bakkar Ibn Abullah Ibn Yahya Ibn Younus Al Udey Al Basry. In an attempt to explore Al Khalil’s mode of recitation, the researcher went through number of references such as; The Seven Modes Of Recitation by Ibn Mugahid, Al Nashr by Ibn Aljazry and Irregular Modes Of Recitation by Al Karmany, as well as other books in languages studies and the interpretation of the meanings of The Glorious Quran attributing each mode to its source. The researcher explores the phonetic, morphological and syntactic study of Al Khalil’s mode of recitation pointing out the varied shapes of one word with its inevitably varied meanings clarifying its ambiguity by highlighting the linguistic use of this word.
