|f The present study aims to identify the level of social support for teenagers suffering from diabetes. The study sample consisted of (150) diabetic teenagers, of which (80) are males and (70) are females, ranging from (12) to (22) years age, where we relied on the descriptive method, the study tools were involved in the (social support) scale prepared by the two researchers, and a number of statistical methods were used. Finally, the current study reached the following results:\n- The level of social support for teenagers is average.\n- There are no statistically significant differences among the teenagers’ social support due to the gender variance.\n- There are statistically significant differences in social support among the teenagers due to variance of disease duration.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2020

|a تهدف الدراسة الحالية الى التعرف على مستوى المساندة الاجتماعية لدى المراهق المصاب بداء السكري، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (150) مراهق مصاب منها (80) ذكور و (70) إناث، تراوحت أعمارهم من (12) سنة إلى (22) سنة، حيث اعتمدنا على المنهج الوصفي، وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة في مقياس (المساندة الاجتماعية) من إعداد الباحثان، وتم استخدام مجموعة من الأساليب الاحصائية، حيث توصلت الدراسة الحالية النتائج التالية:\n-\tمستوى المساندة الاجتماعية لدى المراهق متوسط.\n-\tلا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في المساندة الاجتماعية لدى المراهق تعزى لمتغير الجنس.\n-\tتوجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في المساندة الاجتماعية لدى المراهق تعزي لمتغير مدة المرض.\n

|d L'étude actuelle dont la démarche est descriptive, vise à connaître le niveau du soutien social chez l'adolescent diabétique où l'échantillon se compose de 150 adolescents (80 garçons) (70 filles) entre 12 et 22ans. \nLes outils utilisés sont tout d'abord, les grilles du soutien social et de l'acceptation de maladie préparées par les chercheurs. Ensuite, l'emploi des méthodes statistiques.\nD'ailleurs, les résultats révèlent que:\n- Le niveau du soutien social chez l'adolescent diabétique est moyen.\n- Il n y a pas de différence dans le soutien social chez l'adolescent diabétique au terme du sexe.\n- Il y a une différence dans le soutien social chez l'adolescent diabétique au terme de la période de maladie.\n
