المستخلص: The aim of this research is to identify the adopted and implemented strategies in the field of renewable energy exploitation In the countries of North Africa under study (Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco), as well as the most important challenges facing them and by analyzing the combined energy data of renewable energy in these countries as well as the most important strategic objectives adopted for renewable energy and presented the most important incentives and initiatives adopted to promote use of renewable energy and energy efficiency, and to recognize reality of reliance on renewable energy , and to identify the most important challenges of renewable energy exploitation in these countries, we have found an existing strategy based on the gradual adoption of renewable energy, however, it faces great challenges, most notably the lack of funding mechanisms for renewable energy projects and the lack of technical and technological rehabilitation, In addition to the prevailing culture that investing in this type of project involves a kind of financial risk
