المستخلص: The aim of this paper is to highlight the most important stage in the development of traditional banks in their banking and finance operations, namely, the shift from traditional banking (ribo) to Islamic banking in the follow-up of an accredited Shari'ah board. In particular, One of the methods of transformation by adopting the entrance of the opening of Islamic windows through which these banks offer Islamic services and products to develop these windows later with the large volume of transactions according to the social and economic response to become a full Islamic bank and this according to steps and stages must pass to succeed Transformation. We chose Al Ahli Commercial Bank (one of the largest banks in Saudi Arabia) to study its experience in the overall transformation to offer Shari'a-compliant banking products and services by opening Islamic windows beginning in 1987, about 30 years ago. In the establishment of Islamic windows as a gateway to the eventual transformation into Islamic banking and the final disposal of conventional banking. The study concluded that the experiment was 90% successful, with the end of the transition program at the end of 2019.
