يسعى البحث إلى دراسة إشكالية المركزية الذكورية، ومحاولات تقويضها في الشعر النسوي المعاصر، ومن خلال شاعرة عُرفت بنصوصها المناهضة لهذه الإشكالية متمثلة في الشاعرة بشرى البستاني التي تسعى جاهدة إلى تقويض سلطة الآخر بوصفها سلطة قائمة على إقصاء الآخر / المرأة، وعدم منحها الفرصة لأخذ مكانها الطبيعي في المجتمع. إنّ معاناة المرأة مع السلطة الذكورية لا يستطيع أحد إنكارها وبالخصوص في المجتمعات العربية التي ترى البيت / السجن هو المكان الملائم للمرأة؛ مما قيد حريتها، وصيرها إلى كائن منزلي مستلب، تقع مهامه في إطار جدران أربع. عرف البحث مصطلح التقويض لغة واصطلاحا، وبين كيف ارتبط هذا المصطلح بالنسوية التي حاولت الانتصار لجنس النساء بمحاربة خطاب الآخر / الرجل. لقد سلط البحث الضوء على محاولات الشاعرة لتقويض السلطة الذكورية، حيث كشف البحث لنا قدرة الشاعرة على خلخلة هذه السلطة، وذلك من خلال بيان مدى التناقض الكبير بين فعل وممارسة سلطة الآخر، وإبراز عيوبها إذ هي في الغالب سلطة أقرب إلى الهدم منها إلى البناء، فسلطة الرجل تتميز بميلها إلى لغة الحرب، والقتل، والدمار، وهذه اللغة لم تستطع إدارة العالم بشكل صحيح بل خلفت الدمار وزرعت العداوة، والفتن بين الشعوب مما أسهم فيما نراه اليوم من قتل ووحشية، كما كشفت لنا الشاعرة ضعف السلطة الذكورية أمام المرأة المثقفة، والواعية مما دفعها إلى إلقاء التهم على المرأة جزافا، ودون دليل، أو الهروب منها، أو ممارسة الإقصاء بطرق أخرى.
