520 |a تعد المناظرة من أبرز وسائل الدعوة إلى الله -جلَّ وعلا- وهي مشروعةٌ لإقامة الحُجَّة، أو لرد الشبهة، أو لإظهار فسادِّ قولٍ أو رأي، ومن أبرز العلماء الذين استخدموا المناظرة فلقد كان له في الرد على أهل البدعِّ مساعٍ مشكورة، كما كانت له صولات وجولات مع خصوم السُّنة وأعداء المِّلَّة، ناهيك عن مناظرته للنصارى، حتى لقد بلغ من إعجاب العلماء به أن أطلقوا عليه "سيف السُّنَّة"، و"لسان الأمُّة"، ومُجدد المائة الرابعة للهجرة.\nوجاء هذا البحث ليلقي الضوء على مناظرة الإمام الباقلاني للنصارى حول قضايا متعددة، منها:\n(معجزة انشقاق القمر لنبينا محمد -صلى الله عليه وسلم-، وعقيدة بنوَّة المسيح لله تعالى، ونقض أدلة النصارى على ذلك، وقضية اتحاد اللاهوت بالنَّاسُوت، وحادث الإفك، والتعريض بأم المؤمنين عائشة - رضي الله عنها). 
520 |f The debate is one of the most prominent means of calling to Allah (may Allah be glorified), and it is permitted to establish the proof, and to remove all doubts, or to show the corruption of a view or opinion. Among the most prominent scholars who used the debate, he had good endeavours in responding to the people of bid'ah. He also had sessions and tours with the opponents of Sunnis and enemies of the Muslim community, not to mention his debates with the Christians. Until he became an admiration among the scholars and they started calling him the Sword of the Sunnah, the spokesman of the Ummah (Muslim Nation), and the Mujaddid (reformer) of the Fourth Hundred Hijra.\nThis research sheds light on Imam Baqalani's debates with Christians on various issues, including: The Miracle of the Splitting of the Moon by our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), And the doctrine of the ascribing Christ as a son to God Almighty and The refutation of the Christian evidence on that, and the case of the union of Divinity with the Humanity, and the incident of Ifk and the objections to the mother of the believers 'Aa'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her)\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
