La Informática es una materia muy joven. La propia palabra "informática" - de origen francés - nació en la década de los 60. Es una contracción de las palabras information y automatic (INFORmación autoMÁTICA). Uno de los efectos más curiosos que han provocado la revolución informática de las últimas décadas y el uso extendido de Internet ha sido sobre la lengua. Se crea una serie de términos que dan respuesta a las necesidades expresivas de la nueva ciencia de la Informática. Las voces informáticas creadas se van incorporando en las distintas ediciones del DRAE. En este artículo vamos a estudiar los términos informáticos incorporados en la 22ª edición del DRAE de 2001 teniendo en cuenta las enmiendas incorporadas en la versión electrónica hasta 2012. Al principio, tratamos sus orígenes y si se adaptan fonética y ortográficamente – en el caso de los extranjerismos, luego, echamos luz sobre sus categorías gramaticales y cómo se derivan. Además, estudiamos sus definiciones, comentándolas según su uso actual. Por otro lado, el trabajo incluye.
The informatics is a very new material. The word "informática" - of French origin - was born in the 60's. It is a contraction of the words information and automatic (INFORmation autoMATICA). One of the effects that the revolution of computer of the last decades, and the extended use of Internet have provoked, has been in the language field. It creates a series of terms which satisfy the expressive needs of the new science of informatics. The created informatics words are being incorporated in the various editions of the DRAE. In this article, we are going to study these terms of computer and informatics incorporated in the 22nd Edition of the DRAE of 2001 taking in mind the amendments incorporated in the electronic version until 2012. At the beginning, we studied its origins and if these words are adapted phonetically and in the spelling - in the case of foreign words, then, we highlight on their grammatical categories and how they are derived. In addition, we studied their definitions, commenting on them according to their current use. On the other hand, the work includes the diachronic study of these terms by comparing their entry to the DRAE since 1983.
