المستخلص: First, the basic parameters of the two poets personalities “Theodor Storm” and “Yusuf Idris” should be outlined. Thereafter, the artistic environment to be examined, because it is characteristic for both authors. To give an idea of narrative stories “Aquis submersus” and “al-Haram”, the stories are to be retold. The central themes of narrative literature is sinful entanglement of the protagonists, resulting mostly from social conflicts. Since in both works the question of the sins of the protagonist is asked to the different origins and developments of sin fornication be pursued in the Occident and the Orient in this work. The impact of the norms of this sin fornication on the protagonists to be portrayed in two stories. Both “Theodor Storm” and “Yusuf Idris” lived in a time of national upheaval, but originate both authors from middle-class families that made them a good education. Both poets were a "day job" after, “Storm” as a lawyer and “Idris” as a doctor. Both were authors of short stories, which had a regional imprint and attributable to the realism, despite the time difference. Because of realism found only in the twenties of the 20th century entrance to the Egyptian literature. The artistic environment of the poet is influenced by the specific awakening their national society and its major protagonists. Storm rubbed his life to the hegemony of “Otto v. Bismarck”, and “Idris” creative period reached during “the pan-Arab era” of “Gamal Abdel Nasser” peaked.

Zunächst sollen die Eckdaten der beiden Dichterpersönlichkeiten Theodor Storm und Jussuf Idris umrissen werden. Danach soll das künstlerisches Umfeld untersucht werden, weil es für beife Autoren prägend ist. Um einen Eindruck der narrativen Erzählungen Aquis submersus und Die Sünderin zu vermitteln, sollen die Novellen nacherzählt werden. Zu den zentralen Themen der narrativen Literatur gehört die sündhafte Verstrickung der Protagonisten, die meist aus gesellschaftlichen Konflikten resultieren. Da in beiden Werken die Frage nach den Sünden der Protagonisten gestellt wird, soll in dieser Arbeit den unterschiedlichen Ursprüngen und Entwicklungen der Sünde Unzucht im Okzident und im Orient nachgegangen werden. Dabei sollen die Auswirkungen der Normierungen dieser Sünde Unzucht auf die Protagonisten in beiden Novellen geschildert werden.
