المستخلص: لما أذن الله أن يبعث رسولا خاتما عاما لكل البشر برسالة خاتمة وشريعة محفوظة صالحة لكل زمان ومكان وجعل حجتها في ذلك النص المعجز الذي يحوي بين دفتيه الأصول الجامعة التي لا تتغير لا بتغير الزمان ولا بتغير المكان؛ ترك للعقل - بما خوله من - حرية الاختيار وبما قرره له في ذلك سلفا سواء بالطاعة أو العصيان؛ تعددت المشارب والاتجاهات ما بين مقبل على الدين وما بين معرض عنه متشبث بما كان عليه السابقون، ثم عن لبعض منهم أن يحدث نوعا من التلفيق والتلبيس بين الأديان والفلسفات فأحدث لنفسه طرقا جديدة توافق هواه، وادعاها تحت مظلة أحد الأديان ليروج لفكره وينشر بدعته. وجوزيف سميث مؤسس طائفة المورمون، أحد الذين ادعوا النبوة والوحي، وزعم أن الله اختاره ليستعيد كنيسة المسيح مرة ثانية بعد أن ارتد أصحابها عنها، وله كتاب مقدس اسمه: كتاب مورمون شهادة ثانية ليسوع المسيح. فجاء هذا البحث ليعالج كيفية ظهور المورمون وظروف نشأة مؤسسها، والتحقق من كتابها، وبيان أهم أفكارها ومعتقداتها، وهل يوجد ثمة تشابه بين المورمون والإسلام.

As predestined by Allah to send the seal of His messengers to all people accompanied by a seal message and a protected jurisprudence valid for all times and places. Almighty Allah Has included the conclusive evidence within the sphere of the miraculous text which contains the collective origins which do neither change with time nor with space. The human reason endowed with, as previously determined by Allah, the freedom of choice whether to be obedient or disobedient. Then, the mind is seized within a diversity of stripes and directions which resulted in two main categories; one keeps on track with religion while the other turns its back and keeps clutched to the creed of the ancestors. Others resorted to the idea of making up fake stories and blurring the boundaries and philosophies between religions. Those members have ushered in new whimsical trends under the umbrella of religion so as to create a fertile soil where they could propagate their thoughts and fallacies. Joseph Smith; the founder of the Mormons, is one of those who claimed prophet hood and revelation. He also claimed that Allah Has chosen him to restore the church of the Christ after its followers gave it up. He has a sacred book entitled; “The Book of the Mormons; Another Testimony of The Christ”. This research handles how the Mormons appeared, the early rising of its founder and examining its book. The research also highlights the most important ideas and beliefs of this movement. It also tries to answer the question if there is any similarity between Mormons and Islam.
