كتبت في هذا البحث عن طائفة المورمون أو ديانة المورمون، وهي وإن كانت معدودة في طوائف النصارى لكن الكنائس النصرانية تعادي هذه الطائفة لشدة بدعتها وتغييرها لمعالم النصرانية التي يرونها، بل وزادت على النصارى بأن أصبح لهم أنبياء-بزعمهم-يهتمون بشؤونهم ويوجهونهم. وللمورمون وجود وانتشار كبير؛ لاسيما وقد صبغت بالصبغة الأمريكية والتي لها التميز والغلبة عسكريا وثقافيا وحضاريا وإعلاميا فأصبح أتباعها بالملايين، وأصبح لها مبشرون، وتطالب بأن يسمح لها ببناء الكنائس الخاصة بها في الشرق الأوسط، ولها قنوات خاصة بها، من هنا جاءت أهمية بيان ودراسة فساد عقيدة المورمون عامة أو في مفردات معتقداتها التي جاءت امتدادا لعقيدة المورمون البدعية الموغلة في الابتداع، ومن خلال دعوى النبوة ابتداع المورمون ديانتهم الجديدة؛ فبنقض عقيدة النبوة وبيان بطلانها؛ تنتقض سائر معتقداتهم الباطلة. فكتبت هذا البحث في بيان عقيدة المورمون في النبوة بعنوان: "النبوة عند المورمون". وقد جعلت البحث في مقدمة فيها أهمية الموضوع وأسباب بحثه وخطته والمنهج المتبع فيه، ثم تكملت في المبحث الأول عن التعريف بالمورمون من خلال نشأتهم وأهم أنبيائهم-بزعمهم-وأبرز عقائدهم، ثم في المبحث الثاني تكلمت عن النبوة والأنبياء عند المورمون، وعن عقيدتهم في النبوة وفي عيسى عليه السلام وبقية الأنباء، ثم تكلمت عن عقيدة المورمون في النبوة ووزنها بالميزان الحق، ثم ختمت بأبرز ما توصلت إليه من نتائج متوجة بالتوصيات التي رأيتها في نهاية البحث مفهرسا البحث بمراجعه وموضوعاته.
