|a يضم هذا البحث أكثر من عشرين شاهداً في النحو والصرف، استشهد بها الفراء عند شرحه لمعاني آيات سورة البقرة، لعدد من شعراء العصر الجاهلي؛ أمثال: امرئ القيس، والنابغة، ... وقد اشتمل البحث على مقدمة وتمهيد ومبحثين وفهارس فنية متنوعة، وقد تبين من خلال تلك الرحلة مع الفراء، ما يلي: - اهتم الفراء بالشعر ولا سيما الجيد المسموع عن العرب الفصحاء، حيث ضم كتابه أكثر من ثمانمائة بيتاً من الشعر. - تعددت أوجه استشهاده بالشعر، فقد يأتي بالبيت كتطبيق للقاعدة النحوية، أو لتقوية رأي استحسنه، وربما أتى به لإثبات ما يقِلُّ أو يكثرُ من كلام العرب. - ربما تعددت القراءات الواردة في الآية القرآنية؛ فكان يأتي لكل وجه منها بما يؤكده من الشعر العربي، وكان على عل م واس ع ودراية شاملة بالقراءات القرآنية. - كان للفراء أثر كبير لدى العلماء الذين أتوا بعده، ولا سيما ابن مالك، وأبي حيان، وغيرهم.

|b This research contains more than twenty syntactical and morphological proofs used by Al-Farrā᾿ (d.207H) in his interpretation of many verses from the Qur᾿ān. These proofs are quoted from some of the Pre-Islamic poets such as Imru᾿ l-Qays and An-Nābighah. This paper consists of an introduction, a preface, two sections and a variety of indexes. The study of Al- Farrā᾿ has led to the following findings: - Al-Farrā᾿ is interested in poetry, especially good poetry conveyed to us through eloquent Arabs; his book has more than eight-hundred lines of poetry. - He has used poetry as evidence for many things; he may use a poetic line to support a syntactic rule, an opinion he favored, or to detect the lexical frequency as used by the Arabs. - When a verse from the Qur᾿ān can be read in different ways, he cites from the Arabic tradition what supports each type of reading as he is well versed in Qur᾿ānic readings. - Al-Farrā᾿ has greatly affected the scholars who came after him such as Ibn Mālik, Abu Ḩayyān, and others.
