المستخلص: يحاول هذا المقال وصف الطريقة التي أتقن بها الكاتب الإيفواري الفرنكفوني أحمادو كورومة (1927-2003) اللغة الفرنسية في روايته الأولى المعنونة "شموس الاستقلال"(1970- 1968). من الأجدر التنويه على أن هذا الإتقان يبدو ضرورة حتمية أمام عجز الفرنسية عن التعبير عن بعض الحقائق الاجتماعية والثقافية المرتبطة بلغة وثقافة الكاتب المالينكية، والتي يغلب عليها طابع الشفوية. لذلك سيحاول هذا المقال الإجابة عن بعض التساؤلات، ومنها: كيف تم هذا الإتقان؟ وأي جانب من اللغة مس؟ وستكون القراءة التحليلية للرواية، وسيلتنا للإجابة عن هده التساؤلات.

This article attempts to describe how the francophone Ivoirian writer Ahmadou Kourouma (1927-2003) appropriates French in his first novel entitled “The Suns of independence” (1968/1970). It is important to mention that this appropriation seems to be inevitable with regard to the inability of French, foreign language and colonizer’s heir, so rich and prestigious, to express some sociocultural realities relating to Malinké’s language and culture of his author, highly marked by orality. How this so-called appropriation has been made? Which language aspect has it focused on? The study attempts to answer these two main questions via an analytic reading of the novel.

Le présent article tente de décrire la manière dont l’écrivain ivoirien francophone Kourouma (1927-2003) s’approprie le français dans son premier roman intitulé Les soleils des indépendances (1968/1970). Il importe de souligner que cette appropriation semble être inévitable devant l’incapacité du français, cette langue étrangère héritière du colonisateur, aussi riche et prestigieuse soit-elle, à exprimer certaines réalités socioculturelles propres à la langue et, par voie de conséquence, à la culture malinké de son auteur, lesquelles sont fortement marquées par le trait de l’oralité. Comment cette dite appropriation s’est-elle faite ? Et sur quels aspects de la langue a-t-elle porté ? constituent les deux interrogations principales auxquelles nous avons essayé, à travers la lecture analytique du roman, d’apporter des éléments de réponse.
