المستخلص: اللغة ظاهرة فريدة ميزت الإنسان بخصائصها ومستوياتها عن غيره، هي ظاهرة جديرة بالدراسة والتناول، تناقح وتداخل مستوياتها جعل منها ظاهرة واسعة التعامل، فنجد الأصوات كأولى المستويات ثم التصريف ثم التركيب لتأتي الدلالة في الأخير تحتاج لتدخل باقي المستويات في تكوينها، فنالت العلاقة بين الصوت والدلالة وكذا الصرف والدلالة من جهة أخرى اهتماماً كبيراً عند اللغويين. وما نريد الحديث عنه في هذا السياق هو تدخل الصوت في تحديد الدلالة على أساس أن الفونيمات تلعب دوراً فعالاً في تحديد دلالات الكلمات.
