|a العقيدة كمفهوم أمرٌ بارز في القرآن والسنة، ومع ذلك لم يتحدد لها معنى اصطلاحي في التراث الإسلامي وعند علماء السلف سيما المحدثون، ولذلك تعددت أشكال التعبير عن ذلك المفهوم تحت مسميات مختلفة كالسنة والإيمان والتوحيد والشريعة والفقه الأكبر والاعتقاد، ثم أصول الدين وعلم الكلام الذي أدخل عاملا مهما في الاعتقاد وهو العقل من حيث التلقي والإثبات والتأييد، ولذلك ظهرت إشكالية التواضع على اصطلاح يميز العقيدة عن غيرها من العلوم الشرعية، أما علماء هذا العصر فقد أدركوا بوعي ضرورة التواضع على اصطلاح مقبول منهجيا للعقيدة لتتميز عن غيرها، وقد ذكرتُ مجموعة من تلك التعاريف الوجيهة التي ركزت في غالبها على الجانب العلمي النظري فحسب، غير أنني - وبعد عرض مختلف وجهات النظر الخاصة بهذه الإشكالية - اخترت تعريفا اصطلاحيا يجمع الجانبين العلمي النظري والعملي السلوكي في إطار الالتزام الذي يفرضه العقد الموجود بين الخالق والمخلوق.

|b Creed as a concept is an important matter in Coran and Sunnah, however it is not determined idiomatic meaning in the heritage of the ancient Islamic peoples, especialy savants of hadith, and so several difinitions appeared under different names like sunnah, imane (faith), tawhid (monotheism), sharia (islamic law), greater jurisprudence, belief, then religionbasic, and otophone which introduced an important factor in creed which is the mind. From where receiving and prove and support, so it appeared a problematic of idiom which distinguished creed from other sharia sciences, but the scientists of our time discovered consciously the necessity to put an acceptable systematic term, So we differentiate it from others, and I have indicated some of those important diffinitions most of it was based on the theoretical side only, and after I mentioned those diffinitions I chose my idiomatic definition that combines both sides, theoretical and pratical in the obligation imposed by the contract between creator and creature.
