|b Abstract. this research aims to state the necessity of reconsidering the methods of educating the Muslim Nation. Sermons and admonitions, lectures and speeches are no longer of avail or effective upon people. Trading in speech has become a prevalent business. We want deeds and actions, not words! I contemplated the sayings of the Prophet's Companions which emphasized in more than one narration this statement: (We attained faith before learning the Quran), among which was that of the venerable Companion "Jundub bin Abdullah" (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "We were with the Prophet (PBUH) and we were strong youths, so we learned faith before we learned Quran. Then we learned Quran and our faith increased thereby". What is the ʻfaithʼ they learned, and what is the method of implanting it in the hearts? My query did not take long to realize that the answer lied in the fact that they were educated by the best of creatures and the Guide of the Nation(PBUH) who taught them what Allah has taught him. I also said to myself: ʻThe secret also lies in the beginning verses sent down and in the revelation of the Quran in portions. Allah's Wisdom necessitated that the Quran be revealed in portions on separate occasions to purify souls and establish faith. Scholars of the interpretation of the Quran agreed that the first verses revealed were that of Surat Al-ʼAlaq, Al-Muddather, and Al-Muzzamel, as well as other chapters (surahs). Hence, I had an idea, which was to trace the verses of those chapters and derive the values they contain. Upon such values, which implanted solid faith in the hearts, the first generation (the unique generation) was raised and educated in order to revive the Nation and make it go back to the Book of its Lord and His guidance, and, also, to enlighten the whole world with it. It is not enough to participate with this study in a conference or write a research about it; rather, we should spread goodness everywhere with every means of electronic technology so that the light will prevail all over the world. My Method: It is a deductive-inductive method by tracing the Quran's verses, then pondering them and deduce their guidance. Summary of Results: 1- The importance of beginning with the shorter chapters of the Quran when teaching it to the young as this is significant in laying down the foundations of faith and building its solid base. 2- The most significant educational faith values in the beginning of Surat Al-ʼAlaq: The importance of reading; our knowledge of Allah Who created us, and knowing that nothing in the universe happens without His command. This creates in the hearts full submission to Allah, keenness to deliver the message of knowledge and not concealing it, educating and raising people on reflecting upon the universe, and keenness to learn religion and understand its teachings. 3- Education has become the best and most effective weapon with which the Nation can face contemporary situations. Our coming generation represents its capital to which care and guidance should be given. The Prophet, PBUH, had been the best educator to his companions and to his Nation afterwards. Recommendations: To look into the Quranic styles and educational values in the whole shorter chapters of the Quran in order to elicit such values and educate the Nation on their guidance.
