المستخلص: تسلط الدراسة الضوء على علم من أعلام اليقظة الفكرية في العراق وهو الأب (انستاس الكرملي) الذي يعد من المع اللغويين العراقيين الذين اهتموا بالثقافة واشتغلوا بالكتابات النقدية. فكانت له العديد من المؤلفات والرسائل التي تتضمن فكرا إصلاحيا ونقديا في مجال اللغة والسياسة والتعليم وغيرها من المجالات. ولعل ما ميز (الكرملي) جهوده الكبيرة في الدفاع عن اللغة العربية والحفاظ على هويتها في وقت كانت الهجمة شرسة على اللغة العربية من قبل الاحتلال العثماني الذي حاول أن يفرض اللغة التركية بديلاً عن اللغة العربية. فهو من اللغويين الذين حرصوا كثيرا؛ من أجل أن يحافظ على تراث اللغة العربية والإبقاء على أصالتها وديمومة تمثيلها للهوية العربية؛ بوصفها الهوية الأولى التي تفصح عن تعريف الإنسان العربي وتعبر عن عراقة حضارته التعبير الأمثل، فأراد لها أن تظهر بالمظهر اللائق بها، فقد عمل جاهدا على محاربة العجمة التي لا تزال اللغة تعاني منها إلى يومنا هذا، وظل حتى نهاية عمره "حريصا على اللغة العربية يدافع عنها، ويبذل قصارى جهده في إظهار فضلها ومنزلتها الرفيعة بين سائر اللغات وكان لا يطيق رؤية أي غلط يرد في مقال أو كتاب ما، ولو كان ذلك صادرا من أعز الناس عليه وأعظمهم منزلة عنده وله في ذلك مواقف مشهودة هذا الجهد وهذه الغيرة على العربية احتاجت إلى وقفة حقيقية للبحث في الآليات التي اعتمدها الكرملي للحفاظ على اللغة العربية لاسيما ونحن نعيش في وقت لا يقل خطورة عن الوقت الذي عاشه الكرملي.

Accordingly, the study is divided into two axes. The first axis is based on linguistic messages and the origins of linguistic research. As for the second axis, the critical article and preserving the integrity of the Arabic language.
