|a يتحدث هذا المقال عن المدارس اللسانية العربية القديمة حيث حاولت أن أقف فيه عند مفهوم المدرسة اللسانية والفرق بينها وبين الحلقة والنظرية ثم تطرقت إلى أهم المدارس اللسانية العربية القديمة (المدرسة التبيينية للجاحظ-مدرسة النظم لعبد القاهر الجرجاني-المدرسة الشمولية للسكاكي والمدرسة الارتقائية لابن خلدون)، كما استعرضت جهود بعض الرواد العرب في مجال اللسانيات أمثال إبراهيم أنيس، تمام حسان ومازن الوعر.

|b This article talks about the old Arabic linguistic schools and explores the efforts of modern Arab linguists in which I tried to study the definition of a linguistic school and the difference between it and between the circle and the theory. Then I tried to discuss the most important old Arabic linguistic schools such as: Al – Jahez School, Abdul- Qaher School, Sakaki School and finally Iben- Khaldun School. This article also reviewed the efforts of some Arab linguists such as: Ibrahim Aniss- Tamam Hassan and Mazin Al Waer.
