Molecular identification of ten maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes was accomplished using ten of Express Sequence Tag-Simple Sequence Repeats markers ( EST-SSRs) .Molecular size of amplified fragments ranged 114bp to315bp in primers p-umc1566 and p-bnlg 1016 respectively. Primer p-bnlg 1016 gave highest values for genotype number., allele number., gen diversity and polymorphic information content (PIC).Highest value for major allele frequency produced by p-bnlg1767 and GRMZM2G098290 while highest heterozygosity produced by p-umc2189. The most and least efficient primers were 1 (GRMZM2G098290) and p-umc2189 respectively. Highest amplified allele was in p-umc2189 ,unique allele in primers (p-umc2189, p-bnlg1016 and p-bnlg1017) ,polymorphic allele in primers p-bnlg1016 and 1(GRMZM2G098290).Primer p-bnlg1016 gave highest value for number of unique fingerprint .Phylogenetic tree divided maize genotypes in two main clusters the first was small included only Sarah and Buhooth 106 genotypes , while the other large one included eight genotypes which further divided in to two subclusters.
