Ambiguity and suspicion surround the US plan called Deal of the Century, which is analyzed in this editorial. It is not clear what will happen to the Palestinian issue, will all its aspects, and the Palestinian people in and out of Palestine. The plan is phrased in a way that places both on the waiting list. It sets no definite shape, time or content with regard to matters related to the Arabs and Palestinians. The Jordanians, in particular, are uncertain about the future of their political system (structure, people, geography and demography). The scheme gives the Palestinians a 4-year chance to meditate and negotiate with the Israelis to achieve the impossible conditions set to label their cantons a „state'. It is unknown how this (Palestinian) entity will be founded in such cantons, how it will function and how the financing will truly build an impossible development in this large prison, which is besieged by the Israeli army from the four directions. It is also uncertain what the Arab countries should do to cooperate with Israel in the face of Iran and the organizations labelled „terrorist' by the US, such as Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah and BDS. What is more, the deal does not give the Arabs anything in return. Instead, it promises to make them counter Iran in a bid to protect the US and Israeli security and interests. In fact, it identifies specific signs for the unknown destiny when it discusses the future of enhancing the Israeli existence, influence and capabilities, and when it aspires for the Arabs' wealth to support the Israeli projects, like those of natural gas and tourism. The items were not announced to receive feedback, but to be implemented even unilaterally. Let whoever accept it, and let whoever stay out of peace. Although it may be approved by unidentified Palestinians, there is ambiguity in the plan with reference to the future of the Palestinian people. That adds to the implications of liquidating the Palestinian issue, accomplishing the Israeli aspirations, especially of the far right and risking the Palestinian rights. Since it handles the existence and rights of the Palestinian as residents under complete Israeli sovereignty, which means it is just a deal of surrender to the occupation. In conclusion, the question that naturally occurs to the mind is: How will the Arabs and Palestinians counter and thwart the deal? It constitutes the very opposite to their vision and threatens the different pan-Arab interests in Palestine and outside. When any wise person investigates the history and reality of Zionism, they cannot gamble on intentions or talks with Israel or Trump's rightist administration.
