On January 28 2020, President Donald Trump announced the US peace plan to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, known in media as the Deal of the Century. The White House event was attended by Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, who stood next to Trump, along with several diplomats including 3 Arab ambassadors. The present report analyzes the content of the US plan in its political part, in terms of form and content. The examination is isolated from any opinions or reactions by any party involved. That would help identify the long-term targets and the Trump administration’s view of the conflict. The analysis finds that the vision is centered on prosperity. It supposes that the Palestinians’ fundamental issue is economy and that they should be qualified to be eligible for a state. However, it ultimately gives them a rather self-rule entity, which it calls a State. It also settles the final status matters in favor of the Israelis, stating that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and the settlements are part of the State of Israel and will persist. On the other hand, the Palestinian refugees shall neither return nor be compensated. It is found that the phrasing of the plan attempts to provide whatever is possible to guarantee the security, protection and continuity to the State of Israel, while the Palestinians can only enjoy the title but not the essence of a state. In addition, it evidently aims at integrating the Hebrew State in the region, not only by establishing normal ties with „neighbors’, but also by building alliances with them. It is concluded that the scheme plainly states conditions and criteria for the Palestinians to meet within a given period to deserve statehood. It sets out, under the foundations of the Palestinian State, that the US will encourage other countries to welcome Palestine as a fully-fledged member of the international organizations. The question which needs to be raised is: if the negotiations are conducted according to this plan, will it wipe all the efforts exerted by the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority in the last few years to place the State of Palestine on the global map and gain the recognition of many countries and international organizations and, then, go back to square one?
