المستخلص: This study aimed to identify the reality of administrative procedures used to raise the institutional reputation of Jordanian public universities from the perspective of academic departments. The study population consisted of all academic departments in the public universities in Jordan for the academic year (2018- 2017). The sample of the study consisted of (339) academic administrator. The descriptive survey method was employed, and the data was collected by the study tool. The results of the study showed that the reality of the administrative procedures used to raise the institutional reputation of the Jordanian public universities came to a medium level in four areas: the emotional attachment to the institution, the services provided by the institution, the vision and leadership of the institution, and the working environment. And it came to a low-level in the areas of financial performance and community responsibility. Besides, the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the estimates of the sample members of the study on the reality of the administrative procedures used to raise the institutional reputation of the Jordanian public universities due to the variable of the job title of the respondent except for the field of "work environment" in favor of the heads of departments. Also, there were no statistically significant differences between the estimates of the sample of the study due to the variable of the type of college. In light of these findings, the researchers proposed recommendations that would enhance the institutional reputation of the universities including raising the senior leaders’ awareness of the importance of taking appropriate measures to raise the institutional reputation of the Jordanian public universities through financial support to universities, and linking universities and the local community in interest of public.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة واقع الإجراءات الإدارية المُمارسة لرفع السمعة المؤسسية للجامعات الأردنية الحكومية من وجهة نظر الإدارات الأكاديمية، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع الإدارات الأكاديمية في الجامعات الحكومية في الأردن للعام الجامعي (2017- 2018)، كما تكونت عينة الدراسة من (339) إداري أكاديمي، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي وجمع البيانات من خلال أداة الدراسة الاستباتة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن واقع الإجراءات الإدارية المُمارسة لرفع السمعة المؤسسية للجامعات الأردنية الحكومية جاءت بدرجة متوسطة على أربعة مجالات وهي (الارتباط العاطفي بالمؤسسة، والخدمات التي تقدمها المؤسسة، والرؤية والقيادة للمؤسسة، وبيئة العمل)، وبدرجة منخفضة على المجالين (الأداء المالي، والمسؤولية المجتمعية). وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة عن واقع الإجراءات الإدارية المُمارسة لرفع السمعة المؤسسية للجامعات الأردنية الحكومية تُعزى لمتغير المسمى الوظيفي للمستجيب باستثناء مجال (بيئة العمل) جاءت لصالح رؤساء الأقسام، كما أظهرت عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة تُعزى لمتغير نوع الكلية، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج اقترح الباحثين توصيات من شأنها رفع السمعة المؤسسية للجامعات منها تعزيز وعي القيادات العليا بأهمية اتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة لرفع السمعة المؤسسية للجامعات الأردنية الحكومية من خلال الدعم المالي للجامعات، وأهمية الربط بين الجامعات والمجتمع المحلي بما يخدم الصالح العالم.
