المستخلص: Televised Arabic series are aired as a means of obtaining profits through advertising revenue which reaches its peak during the Holy month of Ramadan as viewership numbers increase as families watch them while breaking their fast. Recently, not just film but also television series played an active role in media-induced tourism that can attract tourists to an entire location since they reach a large number of audiences in a more credible manner than the traditional tourism advertising campaigns. Since Egypt heavily depends on tourism as a means of revenue where it faced a decrease in the number of tourists coming into the country during the last couple of years. Therefore, media-induced tourism specifically television series can help boost Arab tourism coming into Egypt. After distributing 60 online surveys to examine the effect of watching Egyptian TV series by Arabs on Egypt’s Tourism, it was found that the majority of Arabs felt that they were not sure if watching Egyptian television series would encourage them to visit Egypt.
