المستخلص: L'article aborde la contribution du système éducatif à la diffusion de la culture environnementale et les connaissances sur l'environnement, ses composants, ses problèmes et les moyens de les prendre en charge et ce à travers l'analyse de contenu du manuel scolaire consacré à «l’éducation scientifique et de la technologie» destiné aux élèves de cinquième année primaire. Nous avons choisi ce manuel parce qu'il vise à familiariser l'élève avec son environnement. Nous avons appliqué l’analyse thématique à travers l’densification de six thèmes qui sont: la biodiversité, l'air et l'atmosphère, l'eau et les milieux aqueux, le sol et le sous-sol, les milieux du désert, et le cadre de vie humaine. Dans l’analyse de ces thèmes, nous avons étudié la compatibilité entre les idées diffusées et les deux principaux objectifs de l'éducation environnementale qui sont: l’élaboration des connaissances sur l'environnement et ses composants, et la sensibilisation aux problèmes environnementaux et aux solutions adéquates.

نتعرض في هذا المقال إلى إسهام النظام التربوي في نشر المعارف والوعي بالبيئة ومكوناتها، مشاكلها وطرق معالجتها، وذلك من خلال تحليل محتوى الكتاب المدرسي الخاص بمادة التربية العلمية والتكنولوجيا المخصص لتلاميذ السنة الخامسة ابتدائي. اخترنا هذا الكتاب لأنه يهدف إلى تعريف التلميذ بالوسط الذي يحيط به. وقد ركزنا في تحليل محتواه على "فئة الموضوع" لمعالجة فئات التحليل، وتم تصنيف ستة مواضيع تمثلت في: التنوع البيولوجي الهواء والجو، الماء والأوساط المائية، الأرض وباطن الأرض، الأوساط الصحراوية، والإطار المعيشي. كما قمنا بتصنيف المواضيع الخاصة بالبيئة إلى مواضيع رئيسية ومواضيع ثانوية، وبتحليل محتوى الكتاب حسب الأفكار الواردة التي تخص كل موضوع، وبحثنا في مدى توافق هذه الأفكار مع أهداف للتربية البيئية التي لخصناها في هدفين أساسيين: معرفة وفهم أساسي للبيئة ومكوناتها، والوعي بمشكلات البيئة وكيفية حمايتها. توصلنا إلى أنه بالرغم من المحاولات المبذولة لتفعيل التربية البيئية في الكتاب المدرسي وفي مادة التربية العلمية والتكنولوجية، إلا أن أهدافها تبقى بعيدة عن التحقيق نتيجة للنقائص الموجودة في محتوى الكتاب.

We will explore in this article, the contribution of the educational system, to the dissemination of knowledge and awareness of the environment. We analyzed the content of the textbook, on "scientific education and technology", for fifth-year primary students. We focused on content analysis on the "subject category" to address the categories of analysis, so we have identified six topics: biodiversity, air and the weather, water and aquatic environments, land and subsoil, desert environments, and the living framework. We analyzed the content of the book according to the ideas contained in each topic; we also discussed the compatibility of these ideas with the goals of environmental education, which summarized them in two main goals: basic knowledge of the environment, and awareness of environmental problems. We have concluded that the goals of environmental education are far from being achieved, due to deficiencies in the content of the book.
