|a تحاول هذه الورقة البحثية إثارة قضية التعدد اللغوي والثقافي في عصر المعلومات وعليه ارتأينا أن تكون البداية بالحديث عن الأنترنت وتهديدها بالقضاء على التعدد الثقافي واللغوي للشعوب، مشيرين إلى الصراع الذي نتج بين لغات وثقافات العالم بعدما حاولت كل لغة فرض وجودها على شبكة الإنترنت، مروراً بالوقوف عند ملامح التنوع الثقافي واللغوي على الأنترنت، مبرزين في ذات الوقت موقع اللغة العربية من خريطة التوزيع اللغوي في الفضاء الرقمي، لننهى بحثنا هذا باستعراض أهم الجهود العربية والدولية لدعم وحماية لغاتها، ومواجهة التحديات التي تشكلها الإنترنت في القضاء على التنوع اللغوي والتعدد الثقافي.
