520 |d La mosquée du vieux Mila est considérée comme étant la plus ancienne mosquée d’Algérie, car on pense qu’elle serait construite par Abou al-Mouhadjir Dinar pendant son séjour à Mila entre 59 et 61 de l’hégire (678-670 de J.-C.). Pour évaluer la validité de cette hypothèse, nous avons étudié toutes les sources documentaires dont nous disposons, plus la mosquée en question : son architecture, ses motifs ornementaux, les découvertes des fouilles archéologiques réalisées dans la salle de prière, et les traces des remaniements qu’elle a subi. Les résultats obtenus se sont avérés concluants. 
520 |a يعتبر مسجد ميلة العتيق أقدم مسجد في الجزائر، حيث يعتقد أن أبى المهاجر دينار قد بناه أثناء إقامته في ميلة ما بين 59 و61 ه (678 -670م). لتقييم صحة هذه الفرضية قمنا بدراسة جميع المصادر الوثائقية المتاحة لنا وكذلك المسجد (هندسته المعمارية وزخارفه والاكتشافات الأثرية داخل قاعة الصلاة والتغيرات التي طرأت عليه)، وقد تبين أن النتائج التي تحصلنا عليها حاسمة. 
520 |b The mosque of old Mila is considered to be one of the oldest mosques in Algeria, as it is believed to be built by Abu al-Mouhadjir Dinar during his stay in Mila between 59 and 61 AH (678-670 of J.-C.). To evaluate the validity of this hypothesis, we have studied all the documentary sources available to us, plus the mosque in question: its architecture, its ornamental motifs, the discoveries of the archaeological excavations carried out in the prayer room, and the traces of the reworking she has undergone. The results obtained proved conclusive.
