المستخلص: This research discusses a conceptual case considering the term "al-tafsir", which is a term of a great centralization amongst the Sharia sciences as a proper noun for interpretation, one of the most important Sharia Sciences. The research shows the tafsir indication disparity and naming diveristy between scholars, and that it's not resricted solely to one indication. The research also gives an account of the indications and signs that indicate the disparity of the Tafsir concept, like the disparity of the Tafsir introductions, its definetions, the purports included, the commentator purposes and other evidences confirming the disparity of the Tafsir concept. The research then goes on to showing that this conceptual disparity isn't just a formality disparity , but also a disparity that comes with its reflections and applied implications on the interpretation's issues. The research gave an example for these applied implications on two of the interpretations issues, namely, the History of Interpretation and the Renovation of the Interpretation, emphasizing the impacts of the conundrums within the research dealing with the two of them and showing the inaccuracies of the related introductions to the research due to the omission of the semantic disparity in the Tafsir term. Then the research goes on to trying to place some guidelines to a scientific treatment methodology with this disparity , and how to adjust an approach to look at the interpretation, and its books the books and its issues whilst the existence of this disparity. The research was concluded with the explanation of the most important findings.

يعرض البحث لمناقشة قضية مفاهيمية تتعلق بمصطلح له مركزيته الكبرى في العلوم الشرعية، وهو مصطلح "التفسير" باعتبار هذا المصطلح صار علما على علم من أهم العلوم الشرعية وهو علم التفسير، وقد بين البحث أن مفهوم التفسير تتفاوت دلالاته وتتعدد إطلاقات العلماء له، وأنه لم ينحصر في دلالة واحدة، وسرد البحث الدلائل والأمارات التي تبين تفاوت مفهوم التفسير كتفاوت تعريفاته وتباينها، وكذا تعدد المضامين المندرجة تحت مفهوم التفسير واختلاف رتبها، وانتقاد المفسرين بعضهم لبعض في ذلك، وكذا اختلاف مقاصد المفسرين، وغير ذلك من الدلائل التي تؤكد تفاوت مفهوم التفسير. ثم انتقل البحث إلى بيان أن هذا التفاوت في المفهوم ليس تفاوتا شكليا، ولا يصح الوقوف به عند مجرد الجدل المفاهيمي أو المصطلحي، بل هو تفاوت له انعكاساته وآثاره التطبيقية على قضايا التفسير، وضرب البحث مثالا لتلك الانعكاسات التطبيقية على قضيتين من قضايا علم التفسير وهما تاريخ التفسير، والتجديد في التفسير، مبينا أثر الإشكالات الحاصلة في التعاطي البحثي لهما، وبيان عدم انضباط مداخل البحث المتعلقة بهما بسبب إهمال التفاوت الدلالي لمصطلح التفسير. ثم انتقل البحث إلى محاولة وضع بعض المعالم الهادية لمنهجية التعامل العلمي مع هذا التفاوت، وكيفية ضبط منهج النظر للتفسير وكتبه وقضاياه مع وجود هذا التفاوت، ثم ختم البحث ببيان أبرز النتائج.
