يتمثل الهدف الرئيسي من الدراسة في التعرف على أسباب ضعف طلاب المرحلة الابتدائية في جدول الضرب، وتحديد التباين بين فئات العينة في تحديدهم لأسباب ضعف طلاب المرحلة الابتدائية في جدول الضرب. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي (المسحي) في دراسته لملاءمته لطبيعة الدراسة. وستقتصر الدراسة على إدارة التعليم بمحافظة وادي الدواسر، والمدارس الابتدائية الحكومية للبنين التابعة لها. تم تنفيذ الدراسة الميدانية في الفترة الواقعة في الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي 1437/1438 ه. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من سبعة وعشرين معلما (٢٧)؛ يمثلون (30%) من مجتمع المعلمين؛ وأربعة مشرفين يمثلون جميع أفراد المشرفين. كما خلصت الدراسة إلى أهمية دور الطالب في العملية التعلمية، ووجوب الاعتناء به، وتدليل الصعوبات التي تعيق تعلمه، وأهمية إعادة بناء مناهج الرياضيات في المرحلة الابتدائية بما يتوافق مع طبيعة الطالب وبيئته المحلية، وعدم إهمال دور الطالب في عملية التعليم، ضرورة العمل على تطوير أداء المعلمين مهنيا، ومتابعتهم حتى تتم عملية التعليم وفق ما هو مخطط له ويعود ذلك بالنفع على تحصيل الطالب.
The main objective of the study is to identify the reasons for the weakness of primary school students in the multiplication table and to determine the variation between the sample groups in determining the reasons for the weakness of primary students in the multiplication table. The researcher used the descriptive approach in his study to suit the nature of the study. The study will be limited to the Department of Education in the Wadi Al-Dawasir and its primary schools for boys. The field study was carried out in the period of the first semester of the academic year 1437/1438 AH. The study sample consisted of 27 teachers (27) representing 30% of the teachers' community; and 4 supervisors representing all supervisors. The study also highlighted the importance of the role of the student in the learning process, the need to take care of him, overcome the difficulties that hinder his learning, and the importance of rebuilding the mathematics curriculum in the primary stage in accordance with the nature of the student and the local environment and not neglecting the role of the student in the educational process. Teachers professionally, and follow them until the process of education as planned and this is beneficial to the achievement of the student.
