The research aimed to study the relationship between the selection of online life partner and marital compatibility, study the differences between rural and urban in the selection of online life partner and marital compatibility, identify the differences between the two couples, the research in the choice of the partner of life through the Internet and marital compatibility according to educational level and family income. The problem of research is determined in an attempt to determine the relationship between the choice of the online life partner and the marital compatibility. Are there differences between rural and urban in choosing the online partner and the marital compatibility of the couple? Are there significant differences between the spouses in the research sample? With its dimensions and marital compatibility, depending on the level of education and family income. The research sample consisted of (150) families (300) husband and wife of different socio-economic levels of Gharbia, Dakahlia , Kafr El-Sheikh and Damietta In a meaningful way. The research tools included the general family data form, the husband and wife life partner choice questionnaire, the marital compatibility questionnaire for husband and wife. The most important findings of the study: There is a relationship between couples in the selection of online life partner in its dimensions "and marital compatibility of couples with its axes, there are no statistically significant differences between couples in rural and urban couples in each dimension (social side, psychological side, economic side , The religious and moral aspect, the total terms of the life partner selection questionnaire), the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the spouses in the total sample of the questionnaire of choosing the life partner according to the educational level. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the couples in the study sample in the total terms of the marital compatibility questionnaire according to the educational level. There is no statistically significant differences between the sample pairs in the subjects of social compatibility, psychological compatibility, religious and moral compatibility, Income. The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which is that the youth development and awareness programs should be prepared and presented for the importance of choosing the life partner and the basis of the marriage consensus, examining the impact of different media on both the choice of life partner and marital compatibility. And some university courses on family and marriage.
