|b Scientific research curricula are the cornerstone of undergraduate and graduate studies, and the first brick in the construction of serious scientific thinking sober, and most of the geographical research experience many of the translation of contemporary books, while we can find in the Arab Islamic geographical heritage assets of the various branches of geographical knowledge, That the Arab-Islamic geographical heritage does not live up to its methodology, analysis and presentation of information to what is contemporary geography, forgetting the geographical treasures left by their Muslim ancestor. The importance of the research in clarifying the ability of the Arab Islamic heritage to debate the ideas and information recorded in the contemporary geographical books, and to show the extent given to the traditional works of investigation and study in the scientific research of contemporary geographers. The purpose of the research was to identify the scientific and civilizational heritage of Arab Muslims in the scientific research method and its applications. Geography, as well as identifying the factors that have weakened the use of geographers of the modern era of the particular vessels of the original Arab-Islamic geographical heritage in the scientific proposal. The structure of the study included two sections dealing with the first topic scientific research in the Islamic Arab geographical females, while addressing the second topic of scientific methods Arab geography At the end of the study, the results and recommendations were focused on the great importance of Muslim geographers in establishing scientific research methods on their scientific origins, and the importance of the map in the writings of Muslim geographers. The map was accompanied by text in the written texts. The recommendations of the study focused on the importance of reviewing the Arab Islamic heritage for any geographical study, since each science has its own literature stemming from its original scientific heritage, as well as the necessity of enriching the Arab library with geographical studies T-dealing with topics geographical thought due to the lack of studies in this area, especially Alatarih university

|a تعد مناهج البحث العلمي حجر الزاوية في الدراسات الجامعية الأولية والعليا، واللبنة الأولى في بناء التفكير العلمي الجاد الرصين، وتشهد أغلب البحوث الجغرافية محاولات عديدة لترجمة الكتب المعاصرة بينما يمكن أن نجد في التراث الجغرافي العربي الإسلامي أصولاً لمختلف فروع المعرفة الجغرافية، وقد يعتقد البعض من الجغرافيين بأن التراث الجغرافي العربي الإسلامي لا يرقى في منهجيته وتحليله وعرضه للمعلومات إلى ما يناظر ما لدى الجغرافية المعاصرة، متناسين الكنوز الجغرافية التي خلفها لهم أجدادهم المسلمون. جاءت أهمية البحث في توضيح قدرة التراث العربي الإسلامي على مناظرة الأفكار والمعلومات المدونة في الكتب الجغرافية المعاصرة، وبيان القدر المعطى للمصنفات التراثية من التحقيق والدراسة في الأبحاث العلمية للجغرافيين المعاصرين، وكان هدف البحث التعرف على التراث العلمي والحضاري عند العرب المسلمين في منهج البحث العلمي وتطبيقاته في علم الجغرافية، وكذلك تحديد العوامل التي أضعفت استفادة جغرافي العصر الحديث من معين أوعية التراث الجغرافي العربي الإسلامي الأصيلة في طرحها العلمي، وقد تضمنت هيكلية الدراسة مبحثين عالج المبحث الأول البحث العلمي في التراث الجغرافي العربي الإسلامي، بينما تناول المبحث الثاني المناهج العلمية للجغرافية العربية، وفي نهاية الدراسة كانت النتائج والتوصيات وتركزت حول الأهمية الكبيرة لعلماء الجغرافيين المسلمين في إرساء مناهج البحث العلمي على أصولها العلمية، وأهمية الخريطة في كتابات الجغرافيين المسلمين إذ اقترنت الخريطة بالنص في النصوص المكتوبة، وهذه سمة من سمات الجغرافية الإقليمية في العصر الحديث وهو التلازم بين المعلومات الإقليمية والخريطة، وتركزت توصيات الدراسة على أهمية مراجعة التراث العربي الإسلامي لأي دراسة جغرافية، إذ أن كل علم له أدبياته الخاصة النابعة من تراثه العلمي الأصيل، وكذلك أيضاً ضرورة اغناء المكتبة العربية بالدراسات الجغرافية التي تتناول موضوعات الفكر الجغرافي نظراً لقلة الدراسات في هذا المجال وخصوصاً الأطاريح الجامعية.
