المستخلص: Reception theory was popular in both critical and literary studies. The children’s literary scene, in particular, aimed to understand the different dimensions in children’s reception of literary texts. Thus, it mostly relied heavily on literary applications targeted towards children. However, the critical body of works are still in need of theoretical critical studies that focus on the dimensions of the aesthetic of reception theory to establish a theoretical approach in children’s literature. For analyzing children’s literature, the same process and concepts used in analyzing adults’ literature are applied, although special consideration is taken on account of the suitability and relevance to children’s literature. Therefore, this study titled with “Towards Horizons of Reception in Children’s Literature- A critical study in the Fundamental Principles in Jauss’s Reception Theory” The study was based on Jauss’s reception theory (Robert Hans Jauss) in his interpretation of the aesthetic of reception. I have made a sincere effort to find common ground between this theory, and the process of children’s reception of literary texts; I have tried to achieve this through mapping the constituting elements of the Horizon of Expectation in children’s literature, and discuss them within the context of said literature and its traits, as a standing independent art that is on equal footing with adults’ literature; I have attempted to do this by using a descriptive approach that is based induction of the reception theory terminology. In closing, I dare not say that I have provided an unprecedented study that none before me have. However, I have tried to present a foundation to children’s literature for theoretical critical studies in an effort to develop relevant critical researches.

وجدت نظرية التلقي رواجا في الدراسات الأدبية والنقدية، ولم تخل ساحة أدب الأطفال من سبر لأبعاد عملية التلقي عند الطفل في أثناء استقباله لنصوص الأدب، متخذة في معظمها طابع التطبيق على فنون الأدب الموجهة إلى الطفل؛ إلا أن المنجز النقدي لايزال بحاجة إلى الدراسات النقدية النظرية التي تعنى بالوقوف على أبعاد نظرية جمالية التلقي لتأسيس مقاربات نظرية لها في أدب الأطفال، تمتاح الأصول ذاتها والمفاهيم عينها التي تعتمدها في الأدب الموجه للكبار بعد أن تطوعها لتتلاءم مع خصوصية أدب الطفل. من هنا كان التوجه إلى إعداد هذه الدراسة المعنونة بـــ: (نحو أفق تلق في أدب الأطفال دراسة نقدية في أسس نظرية التلقي عند ياوس) التي اعتدت بنظرية التلقي عند الناقد (هانز روبرت ياوس) في تفسيره لجمالية عملية التلقي، وقد جهدت في إيجاد مقاربات بينها وبين عملية تلقي الطفل واستقباله لنصوص الأدب، من خلال وضع مخطط للعناصر المشكلة لأفق الانتظار في أدب الأطفال ومناقشتها في ظل متطلبات أدب الأطفال وخصوصيته بوصفه فنا قائما بذاته يسير جنبا إلى جنب مع أدب الكبار؛ معتمدة في ذلك على المنهج الوصفي القائم على أدوات منهج نظرية التلقي عند ياوس وأسسها، ومن ثم تطبيقها على عملية تلقي الطفل للأدب الموجه إليه. ولا أزعم أني استوفيت درجات الكمال أو سبقت غيري فيما قدمته في هذه الدراسة، إلا أنني حاولت أن أضع لأدب الطفل مرتكزا في الدراسات النقدية النظرية أملأ في تطوير مجالات البحوث النقدية ذات الصلة بأدب الأطفال.
