ما تضمنه هذا البحث بموجز الكلام، فمن ذلك: 1- جلالة قدر الإمام أبي العباس ابن سريج رحمه الله تعالى في العلم عامة؛ وفي الاعتقاد خاصة، وإنه في توحيد الأسماء والصفات متبع؛ وليس بمبتدع. 2- كثرة المؤلفات التي عنيت بتوحيد الله تعالى بأسمائه وصفاته، وأن هذا الجواب ليس ببدع من القول، وأن عداد هذه المؤلفات أكثر من أن يحصيه إلا الله تعالى. 3- أن من قواعد أهل السنة والجماعة في توحيد الأسماء والصفات: أنه يحرم على العقول أن تمثل، وعلى الأوهام أن تحد، وعلى الظنون أن تقطع، وعلى الضمائر أن تعمق، وعلى النفوس أن تفكر، وعلى الأفكار أن تحيط، وعلى الألباب أن تصف: إلا ما وصف الله تعالى به نفسه في كتابه؛ أو على لسان رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم. 4- أن اعتقاد أهل السنة والجماعة في جميع الآيات الواردة عن الله عز وجل في ذاته وصفاته، والأخبار الصادقة الصادرة عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في الله تعالى وصفاته-التي صححها أهل النقل، وقبلها النقاد الأثبات-: وجوب الإيمان بكل واحد منها كما ورد، وتسليم أمرها إلى الله تعالى كما أمر، وأن السؤال عن كيفيتها بدعة، والجواب عن السؤال كفر وزندقة. 5- أن أهل السنة والجماعة يقبلون ما ورد في صفات الله سبحانه وتعالى ولا يردونه، ولا يتأولونه بتأويل المخالفين، ولا يحملونه على تشبيه المشبهين، ولا يزيدون عليه ولا ينقصون منه، ولا يفسرونه ولا يكيفونه، ولا يشيرون إليه بخواطر القلوب، ولا بحركات الجوارح. 6- أن أهل السنة والجماعة يطلقون ما أطلق الله عز وجل، ويفسرون الذي فسره النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ويلتزمون ما كان عليه الصحابة والتابعون والأئمة المرضيون من السلف المعروفين بالدين والأمانة، ويجمعون على ما أجمعوا عليه، ويمسكون عما أمسكوا عنه، ويسلمون الخبر لظاهره؛ والآية لظاهر تنزيلها. 7- أن أهل السنة والجماعة وسط في توحيد الله تعالى بأسمائه وصفاته بين طرفي التعطيل والتمثيل. والله سبحانه وتعالى المسؤول أن يجعل هذا العمل خالصا لوجهه الكريم، وأن يعيذني من شرور نفسي ومن سيئات عملي، وأن يوفقني لما يحبه ويرضاه، إنه قريب مجيب.
I praise my Lord Allah of Sublime and Dignity for helping me to completion and success. It is good hereby to give broad lines of the research as an outline as follows: 1- The high esteem of Imam Abi Al-Abbas Ibn Sureij- Allah’s mercy be upon him- in science, in general and belief in particular, namely in the unity of names and attributes of Allah, he is a strict follower not an innovator. 2- The abundance of writings on the oneness of Allah most Elevated in His Names and Attributes, this is not something that is innovated. The number of these writings is uncountable. 3- It is of the basic rules for Sunnis in the issue of unification of Names and Attributes of Allah that: It is strictly prevented that human minds exemplify, illusions limit, thoughts decide, conscience deepens, inner selves think, ideas comprise and minds describe Allah except what Allah Himself has described Himself in His Book or what is expressed by His messenger- peace be upon him. 4- The Sunnis belief in all Ayats (verses) mentioned in the Holy Quran, related to Allah’s Self and Attributes together with authentic Hadiths said by the messenger of Allah-peace be upon him-concerning Allah’s Names and Attributes which were reviewed by scholars of narration and accepted by critics of confirmation- faith in them is an obligation in the same sequence, form and context they are set in. It is a matter of absolute acceptance as Allah commands. Questions concerning them are rejected and answers are infidelity and irreligion. 5- The Sunnis accept what has been mentioned of the Attributes of Allah-Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala- and they do not reject it nor interpret it in the way as those who oppose them. The Sunnis do not take the Attributes of Allah in a figurative way nor they add nor reduce anything to or from it. They do not explain nor modify what is stated of Allah’s Attributes. Sunnis do not either indicate to them by heart nor by body movements. 6- The Sunnis make absolute what Allah Himself makes absolute and they only explain what the Holy Prophet explained. They are restricted to attitudes of the prophet’s companions and their successors and subordinates reputed for their honesty and straight forwardness. They unanimously accept what the predecessors had accepted and abstain from what they had abstained from. They consider the apparent meaning of Ayats and do not concern themselves with hidden meanings. 7- The Sunnis take the middle way in unifying Allah’s Names and Attributes between people who exemplify and those who inactivate and neutralize Allah’s Names and Attributes. We invoke Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala make this work purely intended to please Him and may help and enable us against evils of ourselves and our misdeeds and help us succeed for what makes Him satisfied. He is near and responsive to our pleadings. Praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds, peace and blessings of Allah be on our master Prophet Mohammed-the final prophet-, all his wives and companions.
