المستخلص: The research deals with the role of Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon him) in achieving the economic development in the Islamic countries through the ideas, theories and visions that he developed to achieve this demand. The beginning of the research shows the concept of development and thus the most important aspects that showed the Imam's quest to accomplish this demand. These aspects are summarized in four main points: intellectual theory of work, income diversification and expenditure control, technical and commercial transactions, banking and finance, and social stability. We tried through the presentation to show the particles of each of these aspects by analyzing the narratives contained therein and extract the results thereof, following the scientific method in the presentation and analysis. The search is based on the margins, references and sources used in the research.
