المستخلص: The acquisition or the learning of a language starts initially by getting influenced by sounds, its rate and its musical quality offered by the characteristics of the heard language which help certainly to understand a spoken language, still it would be necessary to listen well. Thus, Vandergrift spoke about the strategies of listening. They are continuous processes, which are carried out consciously or unconsciously by leamres so as understand a foreign language, or by the native children to acquire their mother tongue. We will present an empirical work which consists in releasing certain strategies of listening adopted by a group of learners from the secondary school Ouled Daoud (area of Taounate), to include/understand an oral tale in French as a foreign language.

L’acquisition ou l’apprentissage d’une langue commence d’abord par s’imprégner de ses sons, de sa cadence et de sa musicalité offerts par les caractéristiques de la langue entendue qui aident certes à comprendre une langue parlée, encore faudrait-il savoir bien écouter. C’est ainsi que Vandergrift a parlé des stratégies d’écoute. Ce sont des procédés suivis consciemment ou inconsciemment par les apprenants pour comprendre une langue étrangère ou par les enfants natifs pour acquérir leur langue maternelle. Nous allons présenter un travail empirique qui consiste à dégager certaines stratégies d’écoute adoptées par un groupe d’apprenants du collège Ouled Daoud (région de Taounate), pour comprendre un conte oral en FLE.
