|a حرص الأدباء والشعراء وأهل البلاغة على حسن المطلع في كلامهم، سواء كان شعرا أو نثرا، لأنه أول ما يقرِعُ السمع، فإن كان حسنا بليغا بديعا أقبل السامع على الكلام ومن ثم وعاه، وإلا أعرض عنه، ولو كان ما بعده في غاية الحسن والجمال، ولا شك أن القرءان الكريم عجزت البشرية على أن تأتي بمثله، وأوجه الإعجاز وطرقه كثيرة متعددة منها إعجاز الحروف المقطعة في فواتح السور، فلقد افتتح القرءان الكريم بعض السور بحرف وأخرى بحرفين أو أكثر، فكانت مواقف العلماء والمتخصصين متباينة في قراءة هذه الحروف وفي تفسيرها وتأويلها، كما كان لبعض المستشرقين ترجمات تختلف من مستشرق لآخر ومن مدرسة لأخرى، ومن هنا جاء بحثي هذا كمحاولة لجمع بعض التأويلات والتفسيرات والآراء المختلفة للعرب والمستشرقين تجاه هذه الحروف التي افتتح الله بها عز وجل هذه السور.
