|b The competitiveness of territories is a field of investigation that has preoccupied researchers and public decision-makers for several years. Therefore, several theoretical works and practical studies have been realized in order to identify the sources of this competitiveness and to develop instruments for its appreciation and measurement. This article presents, after a conceptual development of the notion of territorial competitiveness, an emphasis on the main factors and the main indicators of this competitiveness.

|d La compétitivité des territoires est un champ d’investigation qui a préoccupé les chercheurs et les décideurs publics depuis plusieurs années. En effet, plusieurs travaux théoriques et études pratiques ont été réalisés afin de déceler les sources de cette compétitivité et de développer des instruments permettant son appréciation et sa mesure. Le présent article présente, après un développement conceptuel de la notion de compétitivité territoriale, une mise en relief des principaux facteurs et des principaux indicateurs de cette compétitivité.
