|b In Morocco, the working-age population is a permanent component of the employment problem in our country. It turns out that by 2030, the population of Morocco would reach 38 million people. However, those under 15 would continue to fall in proportion (from 27.5% in 2010 to 20.9% in 2030), while remaining in volume around 8 million (8.8 million in 2010 and 7, 9 million in 2030). The proportion of people aged 60 and over, meanwhile, should increase from 8.3% to 15.4% during this period, from 2.6 to 5.8 million people. In this context, the aim of this article is to analyze to what extent Morocco's demographic transition is likely to generate a phenomenon of aging, which would constitute an essential dimension of the evolution of the labor market at the level of country.

|d Au Maroc, la population en âge d’activité constitue une composante permanente de la problématique de l’emploi dans notre pays. Il s’avère, en effet, que d’ici 2030, la population du Maroc atteindrait 38 millions de personnes. Toutefois, celle des moins de 15 ans continuerait à baisser en proportion (de 27,5% en 2010 à 20,9% en 2030), tout en restant en volume aux alentours de 8 millions (8,8 millions en 2010 et 7,9 millions en 2030). La proportion des personnes âgées de 60 ans et plus devrait, quant à elle, augmenter de 8,3% à 15,4% durant cette période, passant de 2,6 à 5,8 millions de personnes. Dans ce cadre, l’objectif de cet article est d’analyser dans quelles mesures la transition démographique du Maroc serait susceptible d’engendrer un phénomène du vieillissement, qui constituerait une dimension essentielle de l’évolution du marché de l’emploi au niveau du pays
