|a هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى الوعي بظاهرة الإرهاب والاتجاه نحوها لدى عينة من طلاب الجامعة السعوديين، والفروق في مستوى الوعي بظاهرة الإرهاب لدى عينة الدراسة واتجاهاتهم نحوها، بالإضافة إلى التعرف على الفروق التي تعزى لمتغيرات النوع، والتخصص والدخل الشهري للأسرة، تم اختيار عينة عشوائية من الطلبة قوامها (556) طالبا وطالبة في المدى العمري من 18-25 سنة، بمتوسط 20.3 عاما وانحراف معياري ± 2.35 عاما طبق عليهم مقياس الاتجاه نحو الإرهاب، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: أن العينة لديها مستوى مرتفع من الوعي بالإرهاب والاتجاه نحوه، كما وجد أن النوع والتخصص والدخل الشهري للأسرة ليس لهم تأثير في الاتجاه نحو الإرهاب. وأوصت الدراسة بعقد الندوات والمحاضرات للشباب التي تضم المتخصصين. وتصحيح المفاهيم الخاطئة عن الدوافع وراء العمليات الإرهابية.

|b The study aimed to identify the level of awareness of terrorism phenomenon and the attitude towards it among a sample of Saudi university students, and the differences of the level of awareness of terrorism phenomenon among the study sample and their attitudes, in addition to identifying the differences that are resulted from the variables of gender, specialization and family monthly income. A random sample of the students was selected and consisted of (556) students whose ages ranged from 18 to 25 years, with an average of 20.3 years and a standardized deviation of ± 2.35 years, where the attitude towards the terrorism standard was applied on them. The study concluded to the following results: The sample has a high level of awareness of terrorism and the attitude towards it. It also was found that the gender, specialization, and the family monthly income have no impact on the attitude towards the terrorism. The study recommended holding seminars and lectures for the youth, in the presence of the specialists in order to correct the wrong concepts regarding the motives behind the terrorist attacks.
