| 520 | |b The purpose of this study was to gain insight into Kuwaiti students’ usage of the Kuwait University library, with a focus on why students use the library and how often they visit. Quantitative findings from a large student sample (578) from eight library branches of a Kuwait public university library revealed that the most frequent users of the academic library are freshman students and students from the social sciences. Based on the results of the study, a number of recommendations for the KU library administration were developed. Also, the social sciences are the most common users of the academic library. This study can be useful not only for existing academic library usage in Kuwait but also for foreign university libraries planning to library services. | ||
