المستخلص: This article is a presentation of the results of a research conducted as part of a research on French-speaking Algerian caricatures (Bedjaoui, Hardi and Lagoun 2016). It aims to draw, through a semiotic approach that allows to understand the process of construction of meaning, the characteristics of Ali Dilem's caricatures as media communication. The importance of the subject of research is at the level of the implicit, implied, and allusions conveyed, and which would deserve an observation and an analysis able to define the language, even the iconic speech of the Algerian cartoonist.

Cet article se veut une présentation des résultats d’une recherche menée dans le cadre d’une recherche sur les caricatures algériennes d’expression française (Bedjaoui, Hardi et Lagoun. (2016: Il a pour objectif de dresser, au travers d’une approche sémiotique qui permet de comprendre le processus de construction de la signification des caractéristiques des caricatures d’Ali Dilem en tant que communication médiatique. L’importance de l’objet de recherche se situe au niveau des implicites, sous-entendus et allusions véhiculées et qui mériteraient une observation et une analyse à même de cerner le langage, voire le discours iconique du caricaturiste algérien. Cette recherche a été financée par le décanat de la recherche scientifique de l'Université Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman dans le cadre du programme de financement de la recherche.
