لا زال الوقف يؤدي دوره في الشهود الحضاري لأمتنا الإسلامية، ويقوم بدور كبير في التنمية العلمية والمعرفية، التي هي المفتاح لتنمية الأمة وتطورها، لذا جاءت هذه الدراسة للإسهام في تفعيل دور الوقف في التقدم العلمي لأمتنا، من خلال تأمين التمويل للبحث العلمي في الجامعات ومراكز البحث العلمي، لكي تؤدي وتسهم في تحقيق النهضة العلمية والتنموية لأمتنا. وللوقف على البحث العلمي أهمية كبيرة، حيث إنه وسيلة من وسائل التقدم العلمي والفكري والثقافي، وهو مهم في بناء صروح العلم ونشرها، فالبحث العلمي هو أحد أهم مرتكزات النهضة العلمية، إذ يعد ركنا أساسيا بها، فهو يعد من أهم المعايير لتقييم مستوى التطور في أي بلد؛ نظرا لأهمية نتائجه على تطوير التكنولوجيا وعلى الإبداع، وهو المدخل الأهم والصحيح في تحقيق الشهود الحضاري لأمتنا.
Endowment is still playing its role in the civilized presence of our Islamic nation and is a rich spring in science and knowledge development, as the scientific knowledge is the key to develop and promote the nation This study has been made to put one of jurisprudence deduction basis, which seeks restoring the endowment vividly within civilizational renaissance of our nation. Stating the legitimacy of endowment in supplying the universities and research institution with financial resources, in order to deliver its message regularly and to contribute in achieving renaissance of our nation. The Study was guided by regulations and modern applications for endowment on scientific research from which people who are in charge of endowment can benefit in determining the priorities of endowment. There is a great impotence for the scientific research is endowment as it is a mean of scientific intellectual and cultural development, and it is important in establishing and spreading scientific edifices, as the scientific research is one of the most important scientific renaissance pillars, and it is considered a basic element and a major standard to measure the development level in any country, considering importance of it is outcomes on technology development and innovation moreover it is the chief in put achieving the developmental renaissance of our nation.
