Climate change has pushed governments, companies and individuals in different countries to mitigate the effects of environmental pollutants, especially carbon dioxide emissions from the transport sector, those greenhouse gas emissions. Most countries in the world are pursuing policies to curb global warming and are committed to implementing international agreements such as the Kyoto Protocol and other climate agreements aimed at reducing emissions. The use of hydrogen in various means of transportation, especially public means, provides great social and environmental benefits to enhance energy security and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transport. Hydrogen technology helps reduce long-term carbon dioxide emissions and contributes to low temperatures, which reduces global warming. And plays a major role in the use of fuel cells as a vector of energy and increasing interest in cars that use hydrogen fuel cells around the world because of fluctuations in oil prices, and uncertainty in the security of oil in the future, and increased interest in environmental issues. And we will explain in this study the phenomenon of global warming and its effects on the economy We will also introduce the Kyoto Protocol, its emission reduction mechanisms and the role of the Egyptian government in influencing climate change and the environmental dimension of the use of fuel cells.
