Introduction Improving the competitiveness ability of health hospitals is one of the most sensitive and important issues. It is not only related to financial and economic dimensions. It also linked to the highest and most influential aspect of society. It is related to the provision of health care to the community. In an era ago hospitals were primarily concerned with the management of structures, infrastructure and the provision of resources but today, however, it has evolved to focus more on managing operations and supporting health care activities. Research Problem: According to the pilot study that conducted in some of Ain Shames University hospitals through personal interviews with patients and workers the researcher found that, Research Results: Acceptance of the first main hypothesis: - It is expected that the elements of applying the Lean Operations Strategy in Ain Shams University hospitals are not available to the extent that it is possible to improve the competitiveness of these hospitals. -The rejection of the first partial hypothesis: "It is expected that the necessary elements for the application of the method of organization of work site (5S) in the hospitals of Ain Shams University is not available to the extent that allows to improve the competitive-ness of these hospital. Acceptance of the second partial hypothesis: "It is expected that the elements necessary to apply the method of participation of staff in Ain Shams University hospitals is not available to the extent that allows to improve the competitiveness of these hospitals.
