المستخلص: تميزت اللغة العربية منذ نشأتها بظاهرة الإعراب، وزادت أهميتها منذ اختلاط الألسن وظهور اللحن. وقد عمل النحاة واللغويون على توثيقها ووضع القوانين لتفسيرها والحفاظ عليها واستخدامها على مر العصور. يتناول البحث دراسة ظاهرة الإعراب تاريخياً، ويقدم آراء النحاة القدماء والمحدثين ومذاهبهم في معانيها ودلالتها. واقتضى العمل بتقسيم البحث على تمهيد ومحورين، تضمن التمهيد معنى الإعراب لغة واصطلاحاً وتاريخ ظاهرة الإعراب، وأهم المؤلفات النحوية التي أثرت في تفسير هذه الظاهرة فيما بعد، وذكرنا أهم الأسباب التي أدت إلى غزارة التأليف النحو وتعدد آراء النحاة في تفسير الإعراب، وتضمن المحور الثاني اتجاهات أُخر قديمة وحديثة في تفسير ظاهرة الإعراب خالفت المعنى التقليدي للإعراب الذي بنى عليه الدرس النحوي فضلاً عن المقدمة والخاتمة التي ذكرنا فيها أهم ما توصلنا إليه من نتائج وتوصيات في هذا البحث.

Arabic has been characterized by the phenomenon of expression, and has increased its importance since the mixing of tongues and the appearance of error. The linguists have worked on documenting them and developing laws for their interpretation, preservation and use throughout the ages. The research deals with the study of the phenomenon of historical expression, and presents the views of ancient linguists and modernists and their doctrines in their meanings and significance. It required the division of the research into a two. The preamble included the meaning of expression language and terminology and the history of the phenomenon of declensions, and the most important linguistic works that influenced the interpretation of this phenomenon later, and reminded us of the most important reasons that led to the abundance of grammatical authorship and the multiplicity of opinions of the grammarians in the interpretation of expressions, and included the first axis expression and meanings and signs of expression original and subsidiary as approved by the linguists. And the second axis included other old and modern trends in the interpretation of the phenomenon of expression contrary to the traditional meaning of the expression on which the grammar lesson was built, as well as the introduction and conclusion in which we mentioned the most important findings and recommendations in this research.
