المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى تعريف التطرف الفكري، وعرض ركائزه وأخطاره، وسبل معالجته من وجهة نظر طالبات جامعة حائل فرع الشملي. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتم إعداد أدوات الدراسة: الاستبانة، وأسئلة المقابلة وتوزيعها على عينة الدراسة التي بلغت ١١٨ طالبة. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن التكرارات والنسب المئوية لمفهوم التطرف الفكري، أظهرت مفهوم المغالاة في التحيز لفكرة أو مبدأ معين دون التفكير في البدائل أو مناقشتها في المرتبة الأولى، وجاءت المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية لتظهر أن أهم ركائز ظهور التطرف الفكري هي العولمة، وفيما يتعلق بالآثار الناجمة عن التطرف الفكري فقد جاء انعدام التواصل الاجتماعي في المرتبة الأولى، وأما أخطار التطرف الفكري على الفرد فقد جاء التفكك الأسري في المرتبة الأولى، وعلى المجتمع فقد جاء تمزيق وحدة المجتمع وحدوث خلل في التركيبة الثقافية والاجتماعية في المرتبة الأولى. أما التكرارات والنسب المئوية عن سبل معالجة التطرف الفكري فقد جاء الفهم الصحيح للإسلام في المرتبة الأولى، ثم الاهتمام بالتربية الأسرية في المرتبة الثانية، ثم التعاون بين مؤسسات المجتمع المحلي في المرتبة الثالثة. وأوصت الدراسة باهتمام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بتنمية التفكير الإيجابي والوعي النقدي لدى الطالبات للحد من الطرف الفكري.

This study aims this research is to define intellectual extremism, its pillars and dangers dangers to the individual and society and ways to address it from the viewpoint of students Ha'il University, Shamlli branch. An analytical investigation was used, and the study survey tools were prepared, and interview questions and distributed it to the study sample and reached 118 students. The results of the study showed that the concept of intellectual extremism is related mainly to the excessive bias of a particular idea or principle without thinking about or discussing alternatives. Where this concept came in the first place. Results shows also that globalization is ones of the most importin pillars of the intellectual extremism. In fact, arithmetic averages and standard deviations of this pillar comes in the first place. However, among, the effects of intellectual extremism, the lack of social communication comes the first. Hence, intellectual extremism can causes family disintegration and family distraction, which came in the first place as intellectual extremism dangers on individual. But, as intellectual extremism dangers on society, disruption of the unity of society and an imbalance in the cultural and social structure came in the first place. Finally, correct understanding of Islam, comes firs as repetitions and percentages of ways to address intellectual extremism. Then interesting and improving, family education came in the second place. Moreover, the cooperation between institutions and the community is also an importin way to address intellectual extremism that comes in the third place. Aiming to reduce intellectual extremism, it is advised that the faculty members reflect positive thinking. Same, they should refuse abusive behavior.
