|b In recent years, health systems have been faced with increasingly heavy funding. The pathologies multiply under the effect of many factors whose risks worried mostly the professionals and the persons in charge of the health. Among so many examples, nosocomial infections are a serious problem to be solved. In addition to its medical character, it results in a very cost-effective treatment for both the patient and the entire community. The aim of this work is to shed light on this issue in relation to the Algerian case. We show the necessity for the establishment of a system of collection of information to start an effective fight against these diseases.

|d Depuis quelques années, les systèmes de santé sont affrontés à un financement de plus en plus lourd, de pathologies qui se multiplient sous l’effet de nombreux facteurs dont les risques inquiètent la plupart du temps les professionnels et les responsables de la santé. Parmi tant d’exemples, les infections nosocomiales se présentent comme un sérieux problème à résoudre, car en plus de leurs caractères médicaux, elles se soldent par une prise en charge très couteuse aussi bien pour le malade que pour la communauté toute entière. Le but de ce travail est de mettre la lumière sur cette question par rapport au cas Algérien en essayant de montrer que cela nécessite la mise en place d’un système de recueil d’information pour entamer une lutte efficace contre ce genre de maladies
