|a يعالج المقال بالدراسة والتحلي شخصية أحمد بن بلة الرئيس الأول للجزائر المستقلة، والذي تأثر إلى حد بعيد بفكر الرئيس المصري جمال عبد الناصر، وهذا منذ بدايات الثورة الجزائرية، فقد اعتبره بن بلة قائد مشروع الوحدة العربية، وعمل على التأسيس لفكره في بناء الدولة الجزائرية المستقلة، لا سيما مسألة التخلص من الإرث الاستعماري الفرنسي القائم أساساً على مشروع الفرنسة، وعمل على استعادة مقومات الشخصية الجزائرية خاصة مسألة التعريب، هذا الأخير سوف يعرف خلافاً بين مختلف النخب السياسية والثقافية.
